Hi all,
Everything works fine, congratulation for this nice application. However, if this standalone application is perfect for a knx service, the user interface is not exactly the nicest I have ever seen, and not very user friendly.
Is there a way to personalize the design, like an OR Boss 2.0?
Thanks in advance,
regards,

Currently UI personalization is mainly in the OR Boss 2.0 – we're extending the KNX protocol support for different datatypes, please see here: Designer 2.0 - Create KNX Write Command
If you have needs for additional KNX protocol support (quite a bit is currently on the TODO list), let us know and we can prioritize.
We'll be looking at further UI customization for stand-alone KNX setup as well as time/resources permit.

Waouh, what a velocity!.
Indeed, the UI customization available in the OR Boss 2.0 is exactly what I expect.
Where can I find the TODO list mentioned above?
I'll have a look to the OR Boss 2.0. I'm pretty interested in the IR and TCPIP protocols. Just have to find a way to install an IR on my iPhone
Thanks for the prompt answer.

The order in which this happens depends a bit on user demand.

While trying to use the OR Boss 2.0, here is the situation:
I was able to design a simple UI with the online modeler. I downloaded it.
I launched successfully the controller with the terminal.
I uploaded successfully the openremote.zip on the controller.
When I launch the application on my phone, I have the following error message "Warning, please check that the iphone.xml file has been correctly deployed on the controller"
After OK, I'm going to the settings for an auto discovery.
The iPhone immediately finds the controller. After clinking "done", the application is definitely frozen.
You help will be once again appreciated
Thanks,
Nicolas

The latest controller binary is 2.0.0 Dev Release 6, for iPhone binaries you'll need to send the device UID as per the instructions here: Wanted iPhone Beta Testers

How do we vote to prioritise KNX datatypes? We're currently in the process of having KNX installed to control our heating, so would really like to see the datatypes implemented that would allow that via OpenRemote.
Thanks,
Stuart

By asking here on the forums, like you just did. We'll have a possibility to vote on features later once I have some extra time to work on our web infrastructure but a note here will do for now.
If you have any details on what exact DPTs you're using would be helpful (your installer should have that info unless you're doing the ETS programming yourself). It looks like something in the 14.xxx range might be what is used.
And then be prepared to act as guinea pig because I don't have a KNX controlled heating system handy for testing.
