Getting sensor data with iPhone interface

Hi all,

Is there any way to get sensor data with iPhone interface? What i all see is we can only send one-way commands to our devices but can't get data from them. How can i design an iPhone GUI getting - let's say humidity data from a sensor over TCP/IP or HTTP or may be Telnet? What is the equivalent command in BOSS to get data from the sensor? Thank you for such an exiting project!
