Error Message using iphone and iPad app

Garry Doucette

On Dec 28, 2011 01:21

Hi Guys

Since upgrading to the iOS5 compatible apps in both the iPhone and iPad I'm getting a pop-up error message.

"Registration Failure. Bad credentials, check your account settings."

Any ideas what would be causing this? I can't find anything in the logs. When I dismiss the message the app works fine anyway.

Regards,

Garry

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

The pop ups are driving e crazy. I have a feeling it may have something to do with the round robin set up but I'm not sure. I apologize if this is a silly question but I haven't been able to find any clues scouring the forum or by Googling.

Any help would be most appreciated.

That is really strange, it seems to be related to SIP (VoIP) which was not supposed to be included in the version released to the App Store.
I'm afraid there is not that much you can do.
I'll check when we can release a new version that gets rid of this.
Thanks for reporting and sorry for the inconvenience.

That puts my mind at ease that it'll be resolved at some point and there isn't something wrong with my configuration.

        Thanks again.

        Hi Eric

Is there a SIP program I can install on my system that will give the app what it's looking for to temporarily work around these error messages?

        Best regards,

        Garry

In the OpenRemote SVN, under trunk/Runtime/apache-tomcat-6.0.18-SIP, you'll find a version of tomcat with Mobicents integrated. Using that container to deploy OR should fix that issue.

I just installed the latest version from iTunes and did not see that problem.
Could this be related to a web.xml security constraint?

        Hi Eric,

The current version in the app store still has the SIP issue. Any chance of an update appearing soon?

        Jac
